(Neither of them have lately and it's obvious when they spend their nights together,)

I think it's time to change the bedding, don't you?
It's getting cold. We should get a new blanket for winter.

(Of course, it'll take more than a warmer and heavier blanket to take care of their problems but sometimes a change of setting helps.)

Let's go shopping for a new set together.
