[ On a normal morning, Aki might have pulled himself out of bed at this point and gone to make them something warm to wake up to - a nice coffee for himself and some tea for Tsurumaru. If he was feeling really bold then he might try to sneak away and make some breakfast, or in the past try and have a cigarette with the smoke billowing out the window, but that’s an older habit now.
He smokes less and less, because he wants what little he has of his life to continue here.
Tsurumaru shifts into bleary wakefulness beside him and Aki laughs softly, reaching to pick up the box and place it back on top of him - this time on his head, just because he can, his hand sliding around to brush his fingers over his partner’s cheek, touching thumb to his mouth. ]
