[ It feels silly, somehow, to be entertaining this sweetness, this tenderness in the wake of what they just did together, but that's what it means to be in love with one another. They can enjoy the pleasure of their bodies and the intimacies that come with it just as much as they can enjoy the tenderness and softness of adoration.

Aki has never really been with anyone he could claim to love before, and his encounters in the past had been nothing to note, really, compared to this.
